We are excited to announce a significant partnership for Debs Global Empowerment Initiative, The Honourable Commissioner of Girl Child and Humanitarian Affairs, Delta State, Hon Meyiwa Orode Uduaghan has officially joined our EmpowerHer program as a mentor. This collaboration marks a major step forward in our mission to empower young girls across Delta State.
Following a productive meeting, the Commissioner agreed to provide mentorship and guidance to the girls in our program, which focuses on empowering orphaned girls and girls from single-parent homes through skill-building and creative expression. Her extensive background in humanitarian efforts and leadership will serve as an invaluable resource for these young women, many of whom face challenges like child marriage, teen pregnancy, and sexual exploitation.
As a mentor, the Honourable Commissioner will work closely with the girls in our monthly sessions, offering support and sharing insights that will help shape their futures. This partnership supports our goal of empowering 500 girls by 2025 through skill acquisition and mentorship.
We believe this collaboration will greatly deepen the impact of the EmpowerHer initiativeand inspire the next generation of empowered women.
